Why was it done this way? Why not make them both from dust, together upon the sixth day? It was a picture painted for us, a shadow of the true, To show the Source of everything, and bring God’s Son to view. They saw the woman from the man, distinct but of his kind And understood the Son of God, within God’s grand design. He was not just another servant, not an angel in the height But the very Son of God, esteemed in holy light. In the Darkness (The Father Was There) Inspired by Matthew 27:45, Psalm 18:9-11, Psalm 97:2, and Exodus 19:16-18 [Verse 1] From the sixth hour to the ninth A shadow fell across the land No moon or stars, no nature’s cause Just the moving of a mighty Hand The people stood in fear and mocked Not knowing who was drawing near To veil the glory of His face And hold the One He held so dear [Chorus] Oh, the love of the Father! He bowed the heavens and came down With darkness underneath His feet Upon the Holy Ground He made the dark His secret place A pavilion in the skies He stood right there beside the Cross Hidden from their eyes [Verse 2] Like Sinai’s mountain wrapped in smoke Where Moses stood within the cloud The Father wears the thickest dark To use it as a holy shroud For God is a consuming fire Too bright for sinful eyes to see So He came down in mystery To stand beside the rugged tree [Chorus] Oh, the love of the Father! The work was finally done A cost that is only truly known To the Father and the Son [Chorus] Oh, the love of the Father! I am here (Jesus the Comforter) Inspired by John 14,15,16 (Verse 1) The Disciples gathered round the table The hour was getting late, He saw the worry on their faces The fear of coming fate, They asked, "Lord, how can we go on If You’re not by our side?" his death was drawing close, There was nowhere they could hide, So He spoke a word of comfort To the ones He loved so dear He said, "My children, listen closely, Let Me wash away your fear." (Chorus) "I will not leave you comfortless I will not leave you on your own Though I must go, I will come to make your hearts My home, Let not your heart be troubled, don’t let it be afraid. I have not left you alone I am here with you today." (Verse 2) I am not seen by eyes of flesh Or touched by human hands, my Presence is meant to guide you Through the weary, shifting sand I am sending you My Spirit To walk within your stride You will never face the darkness Without Me by your side So when the world is overwhelming And you feel you’re all alone Remember I am with you On the unseen, inner throne. That was my Cross Inspired by Matthew 27:15-26, Isaiah 53:3-7 Verse 1 The heavy key turns in the lock I’m bracing for the final shock I know the rules, I know the game I know the dirt upon my name. I’m not a victim, I’m a thief Beyond repair, beyond relief The hammer’s waiting for my wrist A violent end for a clenched fist. Pre-Chorus But the guard steps back and opens wide The iron gate to the outside He says, "Go on, you’re free to leave There’s another man here to receive... Your verdict." Chorus It should have been me up on that hill It should have been my blood that spilled I am the guilty, You are the cure I am the rebel, You are the pure. How does a prisoner walk away While the Innocent One steps in to pay? You took the wood, You took the loss I am Barabbas... and that was my cross. Verse 2 I stood amidst the screaming crowd The accusations ringing loud I saw the stripes upon Your back The brutal cost of my attack. Brutal lashes, they cut You deep A harvest that was mine to reap You didn't fight, You didn't speak You showed a strength that made me weak. Pre-Chorus I looked for anger in Your eye As You marched on to Golgotha to die But as You passed, I only saw A love that broke me free. The Father Raised the Son Inspired by Ephesians 1:20, Galatians 1:1 Verse 1 He stripped away the robes of light To walk the valley of our night Divested of the form of God, He took the form of man To fulfill the ancient plan. He did not cling to power then, But lowered Himself to die for men. No miracles to save His breath, He bowed his head to taste true death. Chorus He did not raise Himself from sleep He gave His breath for God to keep. It wasn’t His own hand that rolled away the stone, He waited for the Father on the Throne. For the sacrifice to stand, for the victory to be won, It was the Father who raised the Son. Verse 2 If He held power in the dark, Then death was just a fading spark. But He laid immortality aside to pay the cost, He risked it all, lest we be lost. Like bread from stones He would not make, He would not save Himself for mercy's sake. To be our substitute and friend, He remained helpless to the very end. Bridge In the garden, hear Him pray: "Not my will, but Yours today." He walked by faith and not by sight, Into the overwhelming night. If He could break the chains alone, Then He had never truly died. But twenty times the witness brings the word: "God raised Him" is the truth they heard. Chorus X2 He did not raise Himself from sleep He gave His breath for God to keep. It wasn’t His own hand that rolled away the stone, He waited for the Father on the Throne. For the sacrifice to stand, for the victory to be won, It was the Father who raised the Son. God’s True Son Inspired by John 3:16, Proverbs 8:22-31 [Verse 1] They say it’s just a title, a role He had to play That "Son" is just a metaphor to show us the way But if He is not the Son, then the Father gave no price And Calvary is just a stage, a hollow sacrifice We search the ancient scriptures, the truth is written plain He is the Only Begotten, glory to His Name [Chorus] He was brought forth from the Father, before the world began The Image of the Invisible, the Savior of man Not created like the angels, not made of dust and clay But born of God’s own Substance, before the first day Oh, the love of the Father, to give His only One The Gospel stands upon this rock: Jesus is the Son [Verse 2] Proverbs speaks of Him as Wisdom, born before the hills Before the oceans gathered, before the valleys filled "He was daily God's delight," the Son was by His side A true and real relationship, the Father gave His life To the Son [Bridge] If He had no beginning, He is not truly a Son And if He is not a Son, then the victory isn't won For God so loved the world, He gave what was most dear Not just a friend or partner, but a Son He held so near! [Chorus] He was brought forth from the Father, before the world began The Image of the Invisible, the Savior of man Not created like the angels, not made of dust and clay But born of God’s own Substance, before the first day Oh, the love of the Father, to give His only One The Gospel stands upon this rock: Jesus is the Son [Outro] He is God's own begotten. The One and Only Son. We worship You, Lord Jesus. God's true Son.

Who is the Only True God Inspired by Revelation 4, 14:7, 1 Corinthians 8:6, John 4:23-24 Verse 1 Revelation called us to give glory to the King To fear the God of Heaven and of every living thing. But who is this Creator sitting on the throne? Jesus told the woman it’s the Father God alone! He didn't speak in riddles, He didn't hide the view, He said "The Father is the only God" for me and you! Chorus Tell me, who is the Only True God? Group: The Father! (He is the One!) Lead: And who is the Savior Lord? Group: Jesus! (The Begotten Son!) We worship God the Father, through the One and Only Son, Not a mystery, but the Father and the Son! Verse 2 Now Paul said there are "gods many" and "lords many" too, But for the true believer, we know what is true. To us there is one God—Yahweh is His name! And one Lord Jesus Christ—from the Father’s side He came. He’s not an actor, He’s the Son in every way, Born before the mountains, from the Ancient of Days! Chorus I said, who is the Only True God?
